Saturday, 28th January 2017 was Chinese New Year. To mark the start of the Year of the Rooster, everyone had a chance to make and fly a kite.
On Friday, everyone from Y6 to FS1, helped to make and decorate a kite. We took to the school field to fly them in the sunshine.
It took some patience and perseverence to get the kites flying. You had to let the string out gently.
The tails were amazing, whatever they were doing.
We kept our cool and sorted them out.
So we had to run!
