At the beginning of June, our Year 1 classes thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the Castle Howard Arboretum. The day was packed with outdoor activities, including shelter building, making art with found objects and learning about the trees and animals.
We were inspired by our natural surroundings to make pictures using what we could find. They look brilliant!
These shelters look just right in case it rains.
The children will certainly be ready for Year 5 Camp in a few years time (see next article).
