A Week of Amazing Summer Sport

All our Key Stage 2 year groups participated in two sessions of friendly, competitive sport during our week of amazing summer sport (and occasionally less than perfect summer weather).

Modern Olypmics

During our Modern Olypmics, parents and carers delighted in watching our young athletes strive for maximum points in a series of phyical challenges. There was a team prize for the most points, a prize for the team best showing our sports values and individual nominations for outstanding encouragement and enthusiasm.

Interhouse Athletics

Another fixture in our sports week is the interhouse athletics competitions for years 3 to 6. Children volutneered for events and everyone had a place in the 75m sprint heats. There was some close competition and very hard efforts put in by many. Just as for the Modern Olympics we make two awards, one for the most points gained and another to the team that shows our sports values to the greatest effect.

Years 3 and 4

Fire won the points competition.

Earth won the sports values award.

Years 5 and 6
