This afternoon we made Christmas gifts and cards for the residents at Rivermead. We thought flowers and plants were a perfect way to brighten up their rooms, so worked hard to decorate plant pots with patterned paper and PVA glue. We also made Christmas cards for the residents. Some of us could remember a few names from our last visit, so could address them to people we spoke to last month. David addressed his card to Sue, and Zoe could remember spending a lot of time with a lady called Barbara.
We really hope the residents enjoy their Christmas cards and presents.
Linda from Rivermead Care Home has since been in touch with school to let us know how much the residents appreciated our thoughtful gifts and how happy we made them. We are really pleased that we helped to make their Christmas a little brighter.
