Online Safety

Find out what we do to keep our children safe online and what you can do to help.

We have developed our Acceptable Use Policy for parents, governors, staff and children. It specifies the acceptable use of our IT systems, services and equipment. Adherence to the policy is mandaotry for members of staff and children while in school. It is recommended as a model for parents and children outside school.

NCPS pupils have regular E-Safety lessons and are made aware that the internet, as well as being a wonderful learning resource, is also an area of risk. Pupils are taught how to keep themselves safe online and to understand the pros and cons of using online services.

Pupils, parents, governors and staff are made aware of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection command (CEOP) a branch of the National Crime Agency. Their website provides advice, help and a place to report online exploitation and abuse.
