I live in Norton-on-Derwent with my wife and two children. I have two daughters, both pupils at Norton Community Primary School.
I am a scientist by trade, leading technical R&D projects on environmental modelling, digital mapping and emerging information technology - as well as DIY renovating my house!
I joined the governing body in the Autumn term of 2019, partly because I wanted some balance against my extremely technical job – but mainly because of my strong belief that these children represent our future. As a parent governor, I hope I can make some form of contribution to support the school in protecting the children’s rights and encouraging each and every one of them to achieve their potential and beyond.
