Getting started with a school laptop at home.
Connecting to WiFi
The laptop is set to go to our app home page when it starts. It will not be able to find iit until you connect to your WiFi. Here’s how:
- If Firefox is full screen, press F11, or use the window restore button.
- At the top right-hand side of the screen, click the little down arrow.
- Click ‘Settings’.
Note: avoid 'WiFi Not Connected', as a system password is needed there.
- Select ‘WiFi’, and choose your network from the list shown.
- Click ‘Connect’.
- Type your network password into the box provided and click ‘Connect’. Your network password is usually shown on the back of your router.
- To use Purple Mash straight away, reload the tab in Firefox.
The next time you start the computer, wait for FireFox to start automatically.
