Reading

Children in all age groups are expected to read, at home, three times a week.

We value parents and carers reading with and to their children because it allows them to enjoy texts they might not be able to read alone. This is proven to develop many key skills which enable a child to access the wider curriculum.

Children are able to borrow a reading book from school. In addition, our Purple Mash subscription includes Serial Mash, and Children in Key Stage 2 are able to borrow e-books and audiobooks from our ePlatform library.

Purple Mash

We use Purple Mash in school. You use 2Dos for your homework and you can even use Purple Mash in your free time.

ePlatform Library

NEW! For KS2. An online library where you can borrow eBooks and audio books.
