Writing Competition

Our Summer Writing Competition was eagerly entered by children from Year 1 to Year 6.

The challenge was to write something newsworthy for the school website. As you can see, the quality of the winning entries from each year group was outstanding.

Here they are, two each from Year 1 onwards.

The attention to detail is really impressive, along with the use of the correct style for a newspaper report. The children have been careful to engage their readers with exciting adjectives and to illustrate their stories with eyewitness accounts.
